Does the Philips DVDR 3575H/37 DVD Recorder / HDD Recorder Record in HD?

I was looking into buying one of these, so I was reading the descriptions and I noticed it says:

I see that it upconverts but does it record true HD onto the HDD or just upconverts 480p/i?
