security camera floodlight

How can stop my house from being vandalized?
My wife & I keep having our garage lights shot out by a pellet gun. Every time I replace them, they are shot out within 1-2 months. This has happened 5 times now within one year. We keep reporting this to the police, but it doesn't help. I have a security camera that aims towards the driveway. But because it's recording through my window, the night vision doesn't work. Because I work 12 hour shifts at night, this is when it happens. The vandalism didn't occur until we built a new attached 3 car garage. The vandal isn't hitting the siding or anything else, just the 3 lights. They don't even bother with the two lights on the porch. Only the 3 car garage. I even installed a motion floodlight to help scare the vandal away. This didn't work either. We don't know what else to do & would welcome any advice to catch this person. Thank you for reading this posting.
Also, the 3 garage lights are turned off by 10:00 PM. So they are not disturbing anyone during sleeping hours.
Clearly the vandal is someone who is bothered by the lights; most likely at night when they are trying to sleep, or your new garage somehow blocks their view of something.
Who's house are the lights aimed towards or who's house is now blocked of a view by the new garage? That's probably your culprit.
Talk to the police and mention the issue and see if they can beef up patrols down your street.
Also consider hiring a security company to do a stake out.
Lastly see what kind of clear glass containers you could put over the lights that might be pellet-proof or pellet resistant.
