How to check if Power adapter is faulty?
How do i tell if a power adapter is faulty?
I have a power adapter for my battery charger and im pretty sure the charger is good but the power adapter that is not working. But how can i be sure? Maybe someone good with electronics knows or an electrician.
If there are indicator lamps in the adapter or the charger, then you can atleast have an idea if it is defective and will do visual inspection if plug and terminal is dirty or have loose contact.
Electricians will normally use a voltage meter to check if there is an output voltage in the adapter and check if the reading is correct as specified, then they can decide wether it is faulty.
