How do I get content off of my Direct TV+ DVR.?
I cannot afford a DVD Recorder. I have a Model HR22 if that info is necessary. I heard of TV tuner cards. I don't have the PCI slots on my laptop (dell inspiron 1420-vista). What product is right for me?
You will not get digital content off the HR22 DVR. If Directv provided that capability, copyrighted shows would suddenly start appearing all over the internet.

A TV tuner card will do absolutely nothing for you in this case. Satellite receivers are a totally different animal.
The only way around this is to use an analog output and then if you have an old VHS recorder, you could record things for your own use in VHS format.
