ipod security camera app
Can I use a iTunes gift card instead of a Credit Card to register my iPod Touch? (The new one w/camera)?
1. I go to App Store
2. Pick one of the catergories
3. Then I click Top Free
4. I choose one application (That's free)
5. I hit Free and Install
6. Use Existing Account
7. I log in
8. Then it pops up on my iPod and says "This Apple ID has not yet been used in the iTunes Store. Tap Review to sign in. (Please review your account information.")
9. I tap Review
10. Select my country and hit next
11. Agree to Terms and Conditions
12. It asks for my Credit Card, Card Number, Security Code, and Expiration Date.
13. I scroll down a bit and it says iTunes Gift Cards and Certificates (Enter Code)
What I'm asking is Can I use a iTunes Gift Card or Certificate instead of the Credit Card information?
Oh, and I looked on other websites and they said for the old iPod to select None for Credit Card, but I don't have that selection.

You can basically create an account by tapping on a free app then when it asks you to sign in click create new account then choose type which can be none ( for methodes of payment) and then once youve logged in and all you can go on your ipod touch and go to the itunes store scroll down click redeem and redeem it there and then it'll be good for when you want to buy stuff. Thats how I did it, I don't really know any other way.
