By using Y! Msgr mobile with a wifi device (HP IPaq) that also has a SIM card will I get charged by cell co.?
I have a wifi pocket PC (HP IPaq). So I can browse the internet for free (as long as I have WiFi). Now I want to use Y! messenger mobile service on it. Since my device also has a SIM card attached to it I do not know if Y! messenger is going to be using the SIM card (i.e. going via cell phone operator) or via the wifi network. I tried with the SIM Card disabled but wanted to know if any of you know for sure whether I will get charged for it by the cell phone company or not. I have had some really bad experiences will the cell phone company in the past and hence this question.
yes the celphone company will charge you for every kb of data that will be used via your phone, so if you dont have a data plan, beware or else you will end up paying a huge amount of bill.
