Can I view a DVR box video surveillance camera on the internet?
Or do I have to have one that is DVR threw the computer?? I haven't baught one yet I was just wondering because I do want to be able to view from other locations threw the internet. But really would prefer the one with DVR box so I don't use up all my computer hard drive. Could I buy a cable to connect it to the PC would that work so I could view it on the internet or do I just need to get the one that's connected to the Computer
You need a computer based DVR or a Standalone Security Dvr that can be connected to the internet.
Another option would be a box called a Sling Box, but it might not support security DVRs. If you just want to watch, it might work fine.
