Was I breaking the law today?
In a certain shop near my home, anybody entering has to remove their hood/hat/helmet, so as not to obscure their face from the CCTV camera. Today, the weather was really bad and I already have a head cold, so I walked round with my hood up. On entering the shop, I was asked to remove my hood, which I ahd no problem doing as I was now inside. However, a lady was already in the shop who was wearing a head scarf. She was muslim or something and was wearing those long dress things with most of her head and forehead covered. Her face was visible, but so would mine ahve been if I were too keep my hood up. I aks the assisstant why that lady was not asked to take down her head scarf and was given the answer 'that's her religion, you wouyld be breaking the law if u kept your hood up'. Is this right? Does anybody think it's fair?

No you would not be breaking the law. The most they could do is tell you to leave the store.
And next time tell her that your religion requires a hoodie.
